Zane H. Knipe

Zane H. Knipe is a dedicated member of the BARON team, bringing his background in economics, business, and commercial real estate to his role. Originally from Houston, Texas, he grew up in one of the country’s most dynamic and diverse cities, fostering a strong appreciation for people, culture, and community.

He graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Business, where he was also a wide receiver on the football team and a sprinter on the track and field team. His time as a student-athlete instilled in him a deep sense of discipline, teamwork, and commitment—qualities that continue to guide his professional approach.

Before joining BARON, he gained valuable experience in commercial real estate with Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, focusing on retail investment sales in the highly active Houston market. This experience provided him with a strong foundation in market analysis, client relations, and investment strategy within the real estate industry.

After relocating to Omaha in June 2025, he quickly embraced the city’s vibrant and growing community. With a passion for learning, connecting with others, and contributing to meaningful projects, he brings both energy and insight to his work.
