JOHN D. Carrig

John D. Carrig leverages his background in finance and economics to oversee BARON Management's strategy and operations. Originally from Southern California, John grew up in Orange County and graduated from Northwood High School in 2017. He then attended Irvine Valley College, where he was a student-athlete on the baseball team, earning his Associate's Degree in Business Administration and graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors in May of 2019. John's hobby for investment trading led him to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL).

During his time at UNL, John volunteered for the Huskers baseball team, where he assisted in player development and data analytics, further honing his analytical and problem-solving skills. John's interest in real estate grew during a summer internship in 2020, where he worked as a Financial Analyst Intern for a Fortune 500 company in Downtown Omaha. During this experience, John developed a deep appreciation for the city and the developing urban core. A resident of Midtown Omaha, John is an active member of both the Downtown and Midtown communities, where he works to help promote local businesses and engage in community events.

After completing his degree in May 2021, John moved to the Midtown area of Omaha to begin his career in real estate, with a particular focus on urban properties. His passion for urban real estate and community revitalization make him a valuable asset to BARON and its clients. With his expertise in finance and passion for calculated results, John brings a unique perspective to the real estate industry and is committed to helping clients achieve their goals with unparalleled service and dedication.
